Dr. Hassan Alzein earned his medical degree at the University of Damascus in Damascus, Syria in September 1988 and completed his residency in 1994 at the University of IL – Chicago. Dr. Alzein is board certified.

Dr. Katherine Riff earned her medical degree in 2013 at the Emory University School of Medicine in Atlanta, GA after graduating Magna Cum Laude from The College of William and Mary with a B.S. in Neuroscience. She completed her pediatric residency at University of Illinois of Chicago. She is board certified.

Dr. Jessica Lee, MD, PhD, graduated Suma Cum Laude from Elmhurst College. She completed a combined MD/PhD degree at Loyola University Chicago Stritch School of Medicine and served her pediatric residency at McGraw Medical Center of Northwestern University Feinberg School of Medicine/Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago. Dr. Lee is board certified in Pediatrics.
Dr. Lee is dedicated to education and has researched and taught topics such as allergies and infections, immunizations, head shaping, acne, ADHD and newborn health care visits. Parents are welcomed and encouraged to ask as many questions as needed.

Dr. Nadya Dillon graduated with a Bachelors of Science in Biology and Society from Cornell University in 2011. She earned her Doctor of Medicine in 2017 and completed her pediatric residency in 2021, both at SUNY Upstate Medical University. She is board-eligible.
Deeply committed to volunteering, community service, mentoring and making a positive impact in our communities, Dr. Dillon has practiced medicine globally, including Latin America, the Caribbean and both urban and suburban areas of the United States.
Dr. Dillon is committed to listening and understanding the needs and concerns of her patients and their families before she applies any clinical skills. She is friendly and approachable while delivering leading edge, evidence-based patient care.
She is a member of the American Academy of Pediatrics and the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
Dr. Dillon has particular clinic interest in adolescent children and their evolving health needs, acute care and global health. She says, “Healthy people are needed to become future leaders locally and abroad in the current global climate. Cultural awareness allows for a more collaborative relationship between physicians and the communities they serve.”
Dr. Dillon and her husband love the performing arts, including music and dance. She also loves to make ice cream.

Dr. Jaber attended the Damascus University School of Medicine and completed his residency at St. John Hospital and Medical Center in Detroit.
He is board certified in both Pediatrics and in Hospital Pediatrics.
Dr. Jaber choose pediatrics as his specialty because he loves taking care of kids and watching them as they grow into healthy and well-rounded adults.
He has a special interest in conditions and disease of the gastrointestinal tract. He also stays on the leading edge of evidence-based treatments in infectious diseases and hospital medicine.
Dr. Yousef is a board-certified pediatrician and pediatric cardiologist. She completed her fellowship in pediatric cardiology at Advocate Children’s Hospital in Oak Lawn, IL. She believes that taking care of your child’s health is a partnership between you and your physician. Building trust and effective communication is key to helping your children live a healthier lifestyle.

Angela Boomsma is our Urgent Care advanced practice nurse practitioner.
Angela has cared for pediatric patients as a nurse for over thirteen years and as a nurse practitioner for over seven, both in private practice and in area hospitals. She is a double board certified nurse practitioner in both family medicine and acute care pediatrics. Angela is also a certified pediatric nurse and a certified lactation counselor.
With a friendly and funny approachable manner, Angela is devoted to caring for children with chronic disease and medical complexities as well as caring for children who are acutely ill. Angela performs simple outpatient procedures with expertise, knowledge and deep compassion for her young patients.
With Angela’s love of celebrations, Urgent Care is often awash in decorations and themes, making your child’s trip more comfortable.
Angela loves to travel, especially for medical mission trips. She is fluent is Spanish and loves to take continued education courses. Angela and her rescue dog Penny love to take walks.

Kaitlyn earned her Bachelor of Science in Nursing from St. Xavier University and achieved a Master of Science from Governors State University. She is a board certified Family Nurse Practitioner, a Certified Pediatric Nurse and certified in Basic Life Support. She is on the National Registry of Certified Medical Examiners.

Kim is a certified Family Nurse Practitioner and a certified Lactation Counselor.
She graduated from Saint Xavier University with a BS in Nursing and then earned her Masters of Science in Nursing (Family Nurse Practitioner) at Governors State University. She holds licenses as a registered nurse and as an Illinois Advanced Practice Nurse, and is CPR certified.
